Meeting called to order at 6:32pm

Review September Meeting Minutes

Motion to accept Chris Almeida seconded by Jenn Stone

Principal's Report

Review of district survey given to Third Grade students and parents.

Ms. Rolla will be visiting classes to discuss social issues (bullying, self esteem, etc.) Classes will also have morning meetings for open discussion between teachers & students.

Review Treasurer's Report

Report not available. Chris Almeida will email to Jenn Stone and will be reviewed at December meeting.

Pie Fundraiser

Pick up November 19th. Profited approximately $800.

Fall Festival

Well attended. Profited approximately $475.

School Store

Restocked. Jenn Stone will send out flyer for additional volunteers.

Spirit Wear

Delayed because of school closures from hurricane Sandy. Will send home a notice to accept late orders. Possible Spring order.

Book Fair

Great sales. Teachers' wish lists were filled and the school library received books as well. Next book fair will be Buy One Get One April 8th-12th. Instead of having morning event for parents there will be a family bingo night and RIF distribution.

Box Tops & Labels For Education

Box Tops deposited $300 last June and $500 this month.

Labels for Education points will be used in the spring for playground supplies. Toni Cestari will check to see how many points are available.

Ink cartridges brought in $65. Jessica Swan will be taking over for Tammie Duda.

Turkey Trot

Received sponsorship from Mario's Pizza, Naugatuck Fire Dept., and Sokol's Taekwondo. Still looking for more sponsors. Ms. Henion's art class will be working on feathers. Parent notices will be going home shortly. Volunteers needed.

Winter Festival

December 7th 6-8pm. Students will decorate gingerbread men cookies, Zumba in the gym, and play Bingo. Flyer will go home asking for donations for cookie toppings. Cost will be $2.00 per cookie to cover the cost of the cookies. Asking for donations for Socks For Soldiers as admission. Children will be allowed to wear pajamas for school that day and also for the event. Vote to give Mrs. Deegan $100 to spend on additional supplies. All in favor.

Classroom Enhancement

Teachers would like to split the money in classroom enhancement balance evenly. Checks will be distributed to each teacher. "Specials" teacher will be included. For teacher appreciation the PTG will supply coffee and donuts for teacher meeting on Tuesday November 6th.

PSC (Parent School Council)

Next meeting in the Spring
